Meet Margaret.

I am an action-oriented and curious entrepreneur-turned-marketer. I love to know what people are/are not doing and why. I work with a fierce devotion to and focus on “the customer.” Customers, not investors, are who will make your business or venture successful in the short and long-term.

Building a business is hard, and I know this firsthand. After growing my own business to nearly $1M ARR in 18 months, I took a hard look at my personal situation (sadly, no trust fund) and decided to pivot to a career in product marketing. For the past 7 years, I have enthusiastically helped other founders and teams at BarkBox, Nike, Ode to Clean, and Varsity Tutors identify, launch, and scale new multi-million dollar product opportunities 🚀, and I am looking forward to doing that many more times over.

In addition to helping companies establish product-market fit, I’m also a cancer survivor completing a certificate in emotional wellness and executive coaching from Cornell, with an emphasis on working with high achieving and high anxiety individuals dealing with big transitions. I would like to use my talents and skills to help people find their fit in this increasingly challenging world.

When I’m not at my desk, I love making ceramics, cooking with my husband, going to museums, hiking, weightlifting, and hosting dinner parties for friends. I am also an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction. I studied history at Yale, where I graduated with distinction, and I have always believed that  history has actually always been written by everyone — to understand it and make your mark, you just have to ask better questions.

Think I might be able to help you?
